The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree is intended primarily for studentswhose first priority is to acquire skills and knowledge needed for employment in aspecific field. It can be used to help students with better employment opportunities and/or improve their current workforce skills.
In addition to the 30 credit hours general education core requirement, students seeking an AAS degree would complete a technical component of 30 to 42 credit hours for a total of 60 to 72 credit hours.
